This is our health preparedness show for February

This is our health preparedness show for March. Our guest were Dr Ben Edwards, MD (www.veritasmedicle.com) and Dr Steve Hines, N.D. (hopewellness.com and hopewellnessclinic.com) joined us via phone for the show.

Dr Hines expertise are in Lyme’s, alternative cancer treatments and also of interest, he just signed up as a “certified native American healer”. There is a clause in Obama care that carves out the Native Americans and allows them to establish their own healthcare system (basically NOT under the jurisdiction of the FDA, state boards or feds). This gives much more opportunity for other healing modalities to be implemented. Also, it allows patients to opt out of mandatory vaccines. You don’t have to be Native American to take advantage of this (just pay $35/year and sign up as an honorary member of the tribe www.walksacred.com …..Dr Hines gave us the details). There were no topics off limits (alt. cancer treatments, Lyme, Indian practioner, etc.). Dr Hines also told us about a bill being introduced by State Representative Jason Villalba, R-Dallas, who has publicly announced that he intends to file a bill which strips all religious and personal exemptions for mandatory vaccinations. While he has since backed away from banning religious exemptions, he maintains that Texans with personal, philosophical objections to vaccines should be forced to receive them.

Why is this important to you? Whether you believe in vaccinations or not, Villalba’s bill would start us down the slippery slope of allowing the state to make health care decisions for you. The dangerous precedent it would set would open the door to allowing the state to determine what you can put in your body to care for your health, and who you can see for your health care. In effect, the state of Texas would own your body.

Since an underlying principle of health freedom is the right to bodily integrity, it is important for all of us to take an active interest in this issue and make our voices heard. How can we do that?

Write or call Rep. Villalba and tell him not to file his bill. Here’s his contact information:

Rep. Jason Villalba:

Capitol office phone: (512) 463-0576

District office phone: (214) 363-8700

Email link: http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/member-page/?district=114

If you call, you can tell the staffer who answers the phone something like: “I am a concerned Texas citizen who has heard about Rep. Villalba’s plans to ban all vaccine exemptions. Only I have the right to decide what I put into my body to care for my health, not Rep. Villalba, and not the state of Texas. Tell him I want him to drop his plan to file this deeply flawed bill.”

If you email Rep. Villalba, you can say basically the same thing: “I am a concerned Texas citizen who has heard about your plans to ban all vaccine exemptions. Only I have the right to decide what I put into my body to care for my health, not you, and not the state of Texas. I want you to drop your plan to file this deeply flawed bill.”

Time is short, so please act on this today!
